MMU MAKES A TREMENDOUS JUMP IN RANK IN THE 2010-2011 PERFORMANCE CONTRACTING RESULTS

Following the announcement of the performance contract results for the year 2010/2011 on 27th Mar- 2012, Multimedia University of Kenya (MMU) made a significant leap in performance contracting ranking from the bottom ten position to position 118 out of 178 state corporations with a composite raw score of 2.52 which falls in GOOD category.

This is a remarkable improvement, bearing in mind the many challenges the Multimedia University College faced within that period. This could not have been achieved without the support of all the staff of MMU, particularly the team that was involved in spearheading the process led by Mr. Caleb Oboch.

The ranking attracted a total of 468 public institutions including 178 State corporations and is based on a composite score that is computed based on negotiated and mutually agreed indicators and targets implementation.

This marks an encouraging new chapter for us in the process of performance contract implementation as Multimedia University College moves towards the ultimate goal of join the league of best performing institutions in Kenya.

The University College expects to post even better performance results in 2011-12 performance contract period and looks forward to total support from all mmu staff and stakeholders.
