Multimedia university was on 4th July, 2012 privileged to host Makerere University Business School (MUBS).  They were warmly received by our Principal, Prof. Walter O.  Oyawa, Deputy Principal Research, Production and Extension, Prof. D. Shitanda, the Dean Faculty of Media and Communication, Prof. Mak’Ochieng among other staff.

It is an institution in Uganda that specializes in Business Programmes and as a way of improving the way they run them, MUBS had a team that consisted of their Council and Management members make a visit to our institution to learn how we run ours.

They were taken through the formation of the school and its future plans towards making the institution a fully fledged institution, the different faculties and their functions, the few challenges that we have as an institution and the ways in which we overcome them, the value of accreditation and the importance of industrial linkages.

Finally the meeting was concluded with an explanation on the formation of programmes, research activities, E-learning and addition of more faculties as we move towards the country’s vision 2030.

MMU is glad to have assisted MUBS and looks forward to lending a helping hand to other institutions on how to churn out graduants who are ready to fit in their respective industries in the shortest time possible, preferably six months.
