MMU emerge best in media services at 2017 trade fair

Multimedia University of Kenya has scooped the best stand in Media Services, second best stand in display of Data Services and, third best University Stand at the ongoing 2017 Nairobi International Trade Fair (NITF) at Jamuhuri Grounds.


The university, known for its rich background and quality training in media and telecommunication, emerged best after display of modern innovative projects that are designed to solve the country’s emerging problems and to communicate its challenges.

The university’s stellar performance in Media Services is backed by a thriving media and communication environment that is supported by state of the art media studios that allow students to experience hands on training.


On Data Services, the university’s unique and vibrant ICT Museum has made great strides in championing research on e-waste management to ensure responsible recycling and reuse practices across industries in the country.


The NITF provides a vital platform for the university to share information with potential students, parents and the general public, about its programmes and services.

This year's trade fair theme was ‘Promoting Innovation and Technology in Agriculture and Trade’ which is in line with the institution’s goal of providing quality training and transfer of knowledge for entrepreneurship and national development.
