Master of Science in Renewable Energy and Technology - Multimedia University of Kenya

Admission Requirements

Students wishing to study the Master of Science in Renewable Energy and Technology degree must satisfy the minimum University entry requirements or its equivalent and those of the Faculty of Science & Technology. The common University regulations for the Master’s Degree program shall apply.

In addition, the following shall be eligible for registration for the Master of Science degree in Renewable Energy and Technology:

  1. A holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (BSc.) with at least 2nd Class Honors, Upper Division and a major in Physics or Engineering from MMU, or equivalent qualification from any other institution which is recognized by University Senate, or
  2. A holder of Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2nd Class Honors, Upper Division from MMU, or equivalent qualification from any other institution which is recognized by University Senate as an adequate prerequisite for the Master of Science Degree in Renewable Energy and Technology, or
  3. A holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (BSc.) with 2nd Class Honors, Lower Division and a major in Physics or Engineering from MMU, or equivalent qualification from any other institution which is recognized by University Senate, with at least three years relevant working experience, or
  4. A holder of Bachelor’s Degree with 2nd Class Honors, Lower Division from MMU, or equivalent qualification from any other institution which is recognized by University Senate as an adequate prerequisite for the Master of Science Degree in Renewable Energy and Technology with at least three years relevant working experience.

 

TUTION FEES:  KSHS. 65,000/= PER SEMESTER

DURATION:  2 YEARS
