Ongata Rongai, located in Kajiado County and bordering Nairobi, has experienced rapid population growth over the past decade. However, road infrastructure development has not kept pace with this growth.Many roads remain untarmacked, poorly drained, congested, and unsafe. This proposal documents the current road conditions using photographic evidence and outlines solutions to improve transport, safety, and economic development.The major challenges affecting roads in Rongai include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dusty surfaces<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Severe potholes and erosion<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Poor drainage systems<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Traffic congestion<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abandoned road projects<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lack of pedestrian walkways<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inadequate maintenance<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These issues negatively affect businesses, schools, healthcare access, and daily commuting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
