Multimedia University of Kenya (MMU) Council has approved the establishment of MMU Enterprise—a fully university-owned entity that will spearhead corporate consultancy services and oversee the management of all internally generated revenues.
Speaking at the university, MMU Chairman of Council Dr. Albert Kochei said that the newly approved enterprise is a strategic step towards strengthening the university’s commercial venture and enhancing its competitiveness in offering consultancy services, while also streamlining revenue-generating activities across all income-generating units (IGUs).
“As a way of fostering ownership of the Enterprise and promoting creativity within the university, the management will soon launch a competition inviting students to design the logo and motto entity, with the best submissions rewarded,” said Dr. Kochei.
