Dr. Mocheche George is a senior academic and administrator with over two decades of experience in university teaching, leadership, and institutional management. He currently serves as the Acting Registrar (Administration) at Multimedia University of Kenya (MMU), where he oversees administrative operations, governance processes, and the coordination of university-wide support services.

Dr. Mocheche holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Applied Mathematics, specialising in Mathematical Modeling, from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA). He also earned a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Double Mathematics, both from Kenyatta University. His academic grounding in the mathematical sciences has informed a career characterised by analytical rigour and systematic problem-solving.

Since joining MMU, Dr. Mocheche has served in numerous leadership capacities. Prior to his current appointment, he acted as the Chairperson of the Department of Mathematics, University E-Learning Coordinator, Coordinator of the BSc Mathematics and Computer Science Programme, and Patron of the University Peace Ambassadors of Kenya Club. He also served as Faculty Timetable Coordinator, a role requiring precise planning and cross-departmental collaboration. These positions have equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of university operations, from academic programme delivery to administrative efficiency.

Dr. Mocheche has made significant contributions to academic curriculum development, particularly in the design and implementation of MSc and PhD programmes. His work has strengthened graduate-level training and research capacity within the university.

His research interests lie in mathematical modeling, with specific focus on population dynamics and epidemiology. This expertise has direct relevance to public health planning, disease transmission modelling, and demographic analysis.

Throughout his career, Dr. Mocheche has demonstrated sustained commitment to academic excellence, institutional service, and student mentorship. In his current role as Acting Registrar (Administration), he continues to apply his leadership experience to the effective management of university administrative systems.
