Professional Bio

Dr. Wekesa is a seasoned energy specialist with over 15 years of experience in energy modelling and auditing. He currently serves as a Senior Lecturer in Renewable Energy Technology within the Department of Physics at Multimedia University of Kenya.

Over the course of his academic career, he has supervised and mentored more than 20 postgraduate students at both MSc and PhD levels. Dr. Wekesa has an extensive research portfolio, with over 70 publications in peer-reviewed journals, and has co-authored three books in his field. He is also an active contributor to the global scientific community, having delivered and participated in more than 100 presentations at international conferences.

2. Ph.D. (Ren. Energy Tech.): Energy Modelling (Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, PRC)
