Professional Bio:

Dr. Mary Andika is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Procurement and Logistics at Multimedia University of Kenya (MMU), with over 10 years of faculty experience. She holds a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management from  JKUAT, a Masters in Procurement and Logistics from JKUAT, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from KeMU. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA(K)).

Dr. Andika is known for her engaging teaching style and research excellence, offering courses in supply chain management, management, finance, audit, and sustainability practices. Beyond academia, she brings extensive practical experience as an accountant, auditor, and procurement practitioner, having worked at JKUAT for seven years.

She currently serves as a consultant at IHR Solutions, a firm specializing in human resource management, supply chain management, finance management, and sustainability solutions for private and public sector clients. Since 2024, she has also been a member of the Municipal Board of Vihiga County, where she contributes to policy formulation and fund mobilization.

Her research interests include supply chain management, organizational sustainability, leadership and governance, and policy analysis and regulation. Dr. Andika is a member of ICIPAK (No. 6917) and an alumnus of JKUAT and KeMU. She has published several peer-reviewed articles in international journals on topics such as competitive tendering, procurement ethics, circular supply chain practices, and social solidarity investments.
