Professional Bio:
Dr. Solomon Namaswa is a Lecturer in the Department of Physics at Multimedia University of Kenya where currently serves as the Chair of Department. He is a dedicated physicist with expertise in geothermal energy systems, reservoir modeling, geophysics, and artificial intelligence applications in energy systems.
He has over a decade of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. His research focuses on sustainable energy systems development, geothermal reservoir evaluation and machine learning applications in geoscience. He is actively involved in interdisciplinary research integrating physics, data science, and energy technology to address real world energy challenges in Kenya and beyond.
Dr. Namaswa has supervised several postgraduate students and led competitive research grants in areas such as AI driven medical imaging systems and geothermal field characterization. His competencies include scientific computing, geophysical data analysis, energy modeling, machine learning in applied physics research.
