
Professional Bio:
Ms. Faith Muthini is an Assistant Lecturer at Multimedia University of Kenya’s Faculty of Media and Communication, where she integrates Artificial Intelligence, Public Relations, Strategic Communication, and Health Communication into her teaching. A PhD candidate in Communication Studies at Moi University, she holds an MA in Communication Studies and a B.Ed. in Linguistics and Literature from the University of Nairobi. With over a decade of university teaching experience, she champions AI-enabled technologies, digital media strategies, and student-centered learning. As Patron of the Corporate Communication Club, Faith transforms classroom knowledge into measurable success. Her rigorous coaching led MMU to dominate the PRSK Young Communicators’ Summit; clinching the Winner’s title in the 2024 Boot Camp and securing Second Runners-Up in 2025. Building on this momentum, she is currently spearheading an intensive training program for a prestigious inter-university competition, challenging students to leverage AI tools creatively and transform academic insight into a distinct competitive edge. Grounded in mentorship, innovation, and service, Faith continues to shape the next generation of communication professionals while positioning Multimedia University of Kenya as a growing hub for AI-integrated communication and public relations education in Kenya and beyond. Her research spans electoral communication, mobile banking, and HIV awareness. She serves on the founding committee of the International Communication Association’s Nairobi Regional Hub and is affiliated with the East African Communication Association
