Professional Bio:
Mr. Kipkemoi Elvis Samuel is a Laboratory Technologist at the Multimedia University of Kenya, where he supports teaching, research, and practical training within science and technology laboratories. In this role, he is responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and management of laboratory equipment and materials, ensuring that experiments and practical sessions are conducted safely and effectively. His work plays a critical role in enhancing hands-on learning and supporting academic research activities.
In addition to his technical responsibilities, Mr. Kipkemoi serves as the President of Multimedia University of Kenya Optics Students Society (MUKOS). With international recognition under OPTICA and SPIE as student chapters. In this leadership capacity, he coordinates student activities, promotes interest in optics and photonics, and facilitates engagement between students, faculty, and industry stakeholders. His role involves organizing workshops, seminars, industry visits, and outreach programs to build capacity and awareness in optical science and related fields.
Through his dual role as a laboratory technologist and student society leader, Mr. Kipkemoi contributes to both the academic and co-curricular development of students, supporting the growth of a vibrant scientific community within Multimedia University of Kenya.
