Mr. Kitavi Patrick holds a professional philosophy centered on “Training for Industry.” He is the Founder and Chair Emeritus of the Department of Physics and specializes in Semiconductor Physics.
With over 30 years of teaching experience, Mr. Kitavi has supervised 150+ undergraduate research projects and played a pivotal role in curriculum development. He initiated and led the development of the BSc in Applied Physics and Computer Science program and contributed to the creation of four additional undergraduate programs. His research efforts are consistently geared toward enhancing curriculum effectiveness.
