Multimedia University students have been encouraged to use their knowledge, skills, and influence to contribute positively to society, uphold integrity, and participate meaningfully in nation-building.
This was the key message delivered by former Chief Justice Hon. David Maraga during a Youth Leadership Conference organized by the Faculty of Media and Communication.
The conference was held under the theme “Youth Leadership, Communication and Patriotism in Times of Elections.”

Before delivering his keynote address, Hon. Maraga paid a courtesy call on MMU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rosebella Maranga, who expressed the university’s gratitude for his visit, noting that the entire MMU community was privileged to learn from his distinguished public service career.
“Your exemplary leadership and unmatched experience embody the values of integrity and excellence that MMU aspires to instill in its students. You are a true role model to many in our nation and within our university,” said the Vice-Chancellor.
On his part, Hon. Maraga expressed his delight at visiting the university and welcomed the opportunity to share leadership insights and words of wisdom with the next generation of professionals.
